educational design
Before I decided to start up my business Madra Design I was working as an in-house designer at Learning Services the sister company to Houghton Mifflin Company. At LS I created marketing material like tradeshow signage, mailers, and catalogs as well as re-creating their identity package (business cards, letterhead and some thank you cards and envelopes). I worked there almost two years until I decided it was time to venture out on my own. I met some great people in and out of the office thanks to some traveling I did to various education technology trade shows. I recently finished some trade show signage for Knowledge Adventure educational software company.

lost creek design package
I have been working on a re-design of a tri-fold and a few sell sheets for Lost Creek Consulting. I actually meet the owner at a small business class that I attended a couple of years ago. David had approached me at that time and asked to see my portfolio and he kept my information until just a few weeks ago. What a pleasant surprise to hear that he wanted me to do some work for him and that his new consulting business Lost Creek Consulting was doing so well. I had a lot of fun working on this project!

madra design-itech northwest
It has always been a dream of mine own my own business and in May of 2007 I did just that! I quit my full time graphic design job in August and dove head first into Madra Design. So here I am sitting in my home office working away on a logo for itech northwest, a client that I have done quite a few things for since May. So far there has been a company logo re-design, a product logo re-design (boardroom web), 1 new product logo design cast my vote and (one in the works), letterhead, business cards, mailing labels, a brochure, some sell sheets as well as trade show signage and some web stuff.
