Summer is my favorite time of year and a sunny beach is my very fav place to relax. I'm partial to Mexico, but then that's where I have family roots and we spent our lovely honeymoon last year. Day at the Beach was largely inspired by the lazy days of summer and smiles brought out with the sun after a long winter and a rainy spring.
As a tribute to summer and to this new stamp set, I would like to GIVEAWAY a Day at the Beach set!

Oh, I loved this set when it came out and especially the cute flip-flops! I love eating snow cones in the summer... we had unusually hot weather here on the West Coast of Canada last week so I made some. Yum!

This set is absolutely adorable. My husband and I are scuba divers, so that's one of our favorite parts about summer. The Great Lakes warm up enough that we can dive some great shipwrecks.

I, too, love this set and it's absolutely on my wish list! One of my fav summer memories has to be of my grandpa chasing after me and everyone else with a hose! He loved sneaking up on people and spraying them with water when they least expected it. That and sitting on the back step with him and just 'being'! Neither one of us had to say a word, and they were some of the best conversations!

My favorite memory of the summer was that amazing feeling on the last day of school, when you knew you had two whole months of freedom to look forward to. Of course, by the end of the summer I was bored and pretty much couldn't wait for school to start again...

My favorite thing about summer is that our days belong to *us* again - no more preschool for my kids, which means I don't have to do the drive-to-school-drop-off-pick-up thing that threw a wrench into our day! I also love taking my kiddos to the pool at GG & GrandDaddy's house!

my fav memory was one summer when i was growing up, my dad bought a pontoon boat and put a ski boat engine on it so we could water ski behind the pontoon boat. we spent every wknd but one on dale hollow lake in kentucky. i loved it.

I love riding in the car with the windows down. We owned a motorcycle until I got pregnant with our son so... riding with the windows down makes me feel a little like I am on a bike. I miss the bike but... not the danger!

My favorite memory of summer is from when I was child...my family used to go to stay with my grandmother who lived in a beach house. We had some many fabulous family memories there that I will forever cherish... family bbq's, fourth of July fireworks and barn fires, swimming and playing games on the beach... lazy summer days spent relaxing with family.

My favorite summer memory is making homemade ice cream in the old fashioned crank freezer with rock salt and ice. When I was a little girl I always had to sit on the freezer topped with all kinds of towels and rugs for the curing part. My aunt always made sure we waited for the right amount of time. I can taste that lemon custard right now!!
